The kids and I "invented" a cake! Seeing as Brian doesn't like regular cake, we made one out of ice cream sandwiches. After cutting them in half, stacking them into the shape I wanted, I iced it and the kids helped to decorate it. We threw some candles on top and voila - ice cream sandwich cake! We pretty much just dug into it.
